Hypermile on GitHub
Looking for the repo? Start here. The free audit CLI is the open-source piece you can run today; the desktop app (Windows, macOS, Linux) is distributed from our download page, not as a substitute for the CLI sources.
hypermile-audit (MIT)
Local Claude Code / Codex transcript auditor. Reads files on your machine, prints a plain-English waste breakdown, uploads nothing. The dedicated audit CLI page has install commands and a sample report.
$ npx hypermile-audit Prefer Rust? cargo install hypermile-audit
What is on GitHub vs what is the app
- On GitHub: the audit CLI sources and releases (as published). Ideal for “run one command, see my burn.”
- Desktop app: tray forecast, compression proxy, and inspector for Windows, macOS, and Linux — get it from /download.
- Not claimed here: a Gemini CLI connector (see Gemini CLI usage limits for the honest roadmap note). Cursor remains partial support only.
