Download, sign in, see your dashboard.

Install Hypermile on your machine for local compression and gauges, then sign in to open the same burn view in the browser — synced only if you opt in.

  1. Download the desktop app

    Single ~30 MB installer per platform. Wires Claude Code and Codex for you; every change reverses on uninstall.

    • Windows: Windows 10/11 (x64). WSL2 on the same machine is supported.
    • macOS: macOS 11+ on Apple Silicon (arm64). Intel Mac build not in this release.
    • Linux: x64 AppImage (Ubuntu/Debian .deb also on the GitHub release).

    After a download starts, continue to step 2.

    macOS: the Apple Silicon build is signed and notarized. Open the disk image and drag Hypermile to Applications.

    • Claude Code — full support on Windows (incl. WSL2), macOS, and Linux.
    • Codex — full support via the OpenAI base-URL override.
    • Cursor — partial (see the note).

  2. Sign in

    Create or open your Hypermile account with a magic link or Google. No credit card for the free Gauge tier.

    Opens hypermile.dev/app. After you sign in, you land on the online dashboard automatically.

  3. See the online dashboard

    View burn, savings, and projects in the browser. In the desktop app Settings, turn on Sync usage to web dashboard and paste a device token from the Devices tab — opt-in, never uploads prompts or originals.
